Coronavirus Customer Statement
24th June 2020
Further to our original statement on 9th March we would like to provide an update on the actions we as a company have taken and what we equally expect from our customers.
The Rayware Group are working hard to ensure the on-going health and safety of employees, whilst managing any impact on our ability to continue to supply goods to our customers.
As a business, we can confirm the following:
- Our warehouse continues to be fully operational and our head office staff are currently working from home to provide all our normal services.
- Additional measures have been put into place at our warehouse in line with government guidelines including the provision of PPE and the promotion of good hygiene and hand washing. Additional site cleaning has been implemented and social distancing markings and information posters have been placed throughout the site.
- All employees are given regular updates on any changes to working procedures which are introduced in response to new Government advice.
- A policy has been circulated to all employees detailing the process that they should follow should they show any symptoms, or become aware of being in contact with anyone who may be infected. This includes refraining from attending work and adhering to guidance regarding any treatment, or isolation for the recommended time periods.
- None of our employees are travelling overseas at present. There is some UK travel taking place but all employees undertaking this have been supplied with PPE and guidance to keep them and those they visit safe.
- A procedure has been put in place for any essential visits by contractors but all other meetings are now being carried out via video and telephone calls.
- The senior management team are following the changes in government guidelines closely and keeping all our business processes under review.
In addition to the above, we are doing the following to ensure continuity of supply:
- Working closely on a daily basis with our own suppliers. Most of our regular suppliers are operational, and are in contact with us regularly with any changes to lead times.
- Using alternative sources where applicable to increase stock availability.
- Reviewing our current holding stock levels, and ensuring where possible that we have alternatives available should any first choice items become out of stock.
We trust that as an organisation, you are also taking measures to ensure the health and safety of your own team, and have introduced precautions to reduce the risk of Coronavirus.

As a business, we can confirm the following:

- None of our employees have presented any symptoms, or been advised to self-isolate. Should this change, we will update customers if applicable.
- All overseas business travel has been put on hold for the foreseeable future.

- A procedure has also been put in place for any suppliers or customers visiting our premises.
- The senior management team are working to put in place contingency plans to cover a variety of scenarios, should any of our employees become unwell, or have to self-isolate.

Should you have employees in customer and supplier facing roles, we would expect you to also be assessing your own business stance on this interaction and putting in place the recommendations by Public Health England. In particular should any of your own employees have recently travelled to any of the high risk countries, be required to self-isolate or present any symptoms of the virus, we would expect you to contact us if this person has recently been in contact with our team, or has visited our sites.
We trust that as an organisation, you are also taking measures to ensure the health and safety of your own team, and are introducing precautions to reduce the risk of Coronavirus.
